Meet June

Junjie Mao (June) joined SPC Financial® (SPC) and Sella & Martinic (S&M) as a Tax Preparer in January 2023.

June is an Enrolled Agent (EA), a tax professional licensed by the IRS in 2022. She enjoys the problem-solving aspects of working on tax returns and helping people understand their own situations and plan for the future.

June works closely with our Certified Public Accountants and financial advisors on preparing tax returns, providing tax projections and advocating on behalf of clients during IRS and states’ audits and negotiations.

June is dedicated to continuous professional development. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Fudan University in 2005 and a M.B.A. degree from the University of Minnesota in 2014. She is pursuing her second master degree in Accounting and Financial Management at the University of Maryland Global Campus.

June was born and raised in China and currently resides in Rockville, Maryland with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys reading, hiking and camping with her family and friends.
