Meet Alejandra
Alejandra began her professional career at a young age in a private company in the legal, administrative, and accounting areas. She later advanced to financial oversight and tax accounting management at an accounting firm, where she spent several years improving financial reporting and tax processing.
She is a J.D. graduate from Universidad Libre in Colombia, where, as a law student, she also served as an ambassador for political seminars, connecting students with policymakers. Alejandra further honed her legal skills as an attorney at the Municipal Department of Finance & Taxes, where she led revenue collection initiatives and improved strategies during the COVID-19 pandemic. She actively engaged in socio-political projects, collaborating with the city council and mayor’s office to support vulnerable communities.
Born and raised in Colombia, she is fluent in both English and Spanish. She currently resides in Maryland, USA, where she loves running, going to the gym, traveling, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
